The CDX1-1730 high power compression driver is suitable for use in 2-way and 3-way systems. The is lightweight neo driver features Sound CastleTM clamping to ensure uniform pressure on diaphragm assembly for reduced acoustic distortion Advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools used to create a very light weight,high powered 1"exit compression driver. CD1 1730 are field repairable.

Compact and lightweight, this innovative compression driver features an edgewound voice coil and exceptional heat management via an its aluminium heatsink. In addition, Celestion's proprietary Sound CastleT technology is employed to reduce distortion and enabling superior lower mid band distortion. CDX1-1730 represents a cost-effective, high performance solution for a wide variety of applications.
