TD 3100 can be used in sound systems with constant voltage audio lines at 50, 70 or 100V to adjust the power of one or more speakers equipped with line transformer having a maximum total power of 100W. It is ideal for combining with the CT 3108 rotary dial to form an attenuator with 8-position volume control and attenuation intervals of 3dB.

The TD 3100 can also be used for resolving special system problems, e.g. when used as an "impedance adapter", it is possible to connect speakers set to function on 100V lines with 50W constant voltage lines. 

• The TD 3100 can also be used to create systems with differentitated sound levels.

• Auto-transformer with sockets in decreasing ratios for selecting the output power of a line of speakers in constant voltage systems from among 7 different values.
